Job summary

A facilities management provider in Dartford is seeking a full-time Cleaner and Handyperson to manage cleaning tasks and maintenance duties. Ideal candidates will have handyman experience and knowledge of cleaning standards.   • Assist engineering and cleaning staff in a wide range of duties as required.

Equans Cleaner and Handyperson

A full-time permanent role based in Dartford County Court, Home Gardens, Dartford DA1 1DX.

Salary: £27,500.00 - £28,500.00 per annum, plus benefits package.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00.

What you will deliver
  • Mobile cleaning, covering holiday/sickness.
  • Reactive clean up of body spills and deep cleans.
  • Inspect, repair, and clean floors, walls, ceilings, and roofs.
  • Inspect, repair, and clean free‑standing and fitted furniture.
  • Inspect, repair, and clean drainage and gully systems.
  • Inspect and replace luminaries.
  • Inspect, repair, and clean doors (including fire doors), windows, and associated furniture.
  • Painting, re‑decorating and hanging of pictures/notices.
  • Assist engineering and cleaning staff in a wide range of duties as required.
  • Carry out ad‑hoc activities supporting Equans and client team including moves and changes.
BPSS level vetting required

Applicants must undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which includes DBS clearance and the ability to pass.
