Class Teacher (Fixed Term) - St. Peter's Catholic Primary School
The role

St. Peter’s is a loving, caring Catholic Community working together in serving God, where each child is given the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Commencing February 2026 until July 2026 with the possibility of extension until October 2026, the Governors would like to appoint a motivated, inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to teach in our school and to contribute to our successful and hard‑working team. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position, and the successful candidate will be teaching in a year 4 class.

If you are shortlisted the interview process is in 2 phases. Phase 1 of the interview which will be an observation of Learning and Teaching.

Provisional dates - Friday 16 January / Monday 19 January 2026

The selection panel will meet after phase 1 to decide which candidates to take forward to phase 2. Phase 2 of the interview will be set tasks and a formal interview.
