Qualifications

• Significant technical and practical knowledge required for civil engineering tasks.
• Experience in supervising the operation of powered hand tools and machinery.
• CITB Health & Safety qualification or ability to achieve one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Operatives performing specialist civil engineering works.
• Manage and control complex manual tasks in operational services.
• Supervise sub-contractors as required.

Skills

Technical and practical knowledge in civil engineering

Experience in structural concreting and reinforcement

Supervision of powered hand tools and machinery

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Full driving licence

CITB Health & Safety qualification

CSCS Registration or equivalence

NVQ2 in a related subject or equivalent experience

Education

NVQ2 in a relevant subject
