Civil Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement surveys and inspection programmes covering superstructures, stacks, silos, secondary containment structures, drains, sump pits, road, rail track and fireproofing.
• Liaise with consultants and specialists to develop specific solutions for projects of small, medium and large size, maintenance and turnaround.
• Gather information from plant owners to support solution development.
• Proficient in all, or most, aspects of civil and structural engineering techniques.

Design Experience Is Essential

• Experience with specific structural and civil engineering design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, StAdd.Pro, Graitec, SAP2000.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and conversant with Advance Steel and Navisworks.
• Experience in the implementation and design of temporary works solutions (e.g., superlifts, temporary support for retrofitting new equipment).

Critical Skills

• Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer (or actively working towards chartered status).
