A children's residential care provider in Manchester seeks a Children’s Residential Support Worker to support young people with autism and learning difficulties. Responsibilities include creating a safe environment, maximising educational opportunities, and providing personal care. Our children’s home in Walkden, Salford provides residential care for children and young people with autism and learning difficulties. We are looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our experienced team. In this role you will work under the leadership of the Registered Manager in a caring home environment, nurturing and supporting young people and providing them with the care, love and support they would receive in a family home.
37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 shifts per week on a rota system which includes weekend working. Annual salary £24,700.00 (£12.67 per hour) plus biennial increments. Weekend pay is paid at a 25% premium on the hourly rate and there is a sleep‑in payment of £100.80 per sleep.
You will receive comprehensive training and be supported through a range of development opportunities.
This role will involve regulated activity. Safeguarding checks will be undertaken for the successful candidate in line with our safer recruitment policy, including an Enhanced DBS check at no cost to you.
