Department: Residential

Location: Apple Tree - Barnsley

Compensation: £30,477.00 - £33,980.00 per annum (base), £12.60 to £12.90 per hour, £60 per sleep night

Hours

2 days on, 4 days off (including sleep nights). We are a 365‑day service; rotas are given in advance.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding childcare and support our young people to achieve amazing outcomes. Support their domestic needs, education, socialisation skills, learning new things and engaging in fun activities and excursions together.

Qualifications
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Prior experience in a children’s care role (desirable)
  • Values in line with Esland’s therapeutic, person‑centred approach
  • Age 21 or above (due to industry regulations)

Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
