We’re looking for a high-impact Chief Marketing & Sales Officer (CMSO) to join Scootrr as a founding team member. This isn’t “just marketing” or “just sales” — it’s the chance to build the revenue engine from scratch, shape the brand, and turn pilots and partnerships into scalable deployments.
As CMSO, you will:
- Own go-to-market end-to-end: positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and routes to market.
- Build and close pipeline across operators, cities, insurers, and strategic partners — from first meeting to signed rollout.
- Convert pilots into revenue by designing strong commercial offers, success criteria, and expansion pathways.
- Lead brand + demand generation: content, case studies, PR, events, partnerships, and ABM/outbound campaigns.
- Build the commercial operating system (CRM, sales process, qualification, forecasting, playbooks).
- Recruit, mentor, and grow the sales/marketing function as we scale.
- Work closely with the CEO and COO to align commercial strategy with product, partnerships, and funding milestones.
About You
- Strong ability to craft narrative + positioning and translate technical value into outcomes buyers care about (safety, compliance, cost, claims, public sentiment).
- Comfortable with longer sales cycles and stakeholder‑heavy negotiations (operators, councils, insurers, OEMs).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, you thrive in uncertainty, move fast, and build from zero.
- Comfortable working full-time in a pre‑revenue / pre‑seed startup with equity‑heavy (or equity‑first) compensation at this stage.
- Excited about building something impactful in micromobility, safety, smart cities, and sustainability.
