Overview

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our team working at Claro Barracks, Ripon, HG4 2ED.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.
  • Preparing food for military dining facilities and hospitality events.
  • Assisting the Sous Chef with post-analysis and ensuring all shift opening and closing checklists are completed.
  • Learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Undertaking relevant training as required.
A day in the life of a Chef de Partie
  • Reporting to the Sous Chef, collaborating with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.
  • Preparing food for military dining facilities and hospitality events.
  • Assisting the Sous Chef with post-analysis and ensuring all shift opening and closing checklists are completed.
  • Learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Undertaking relevant training as required.
You will be set up for success if you have
  • Relevant culinary qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
  • Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
  • Excellent team player and communicator.
  • DBS and security checks required.
