Chef de Partie

Location: The Mole Resort , EX37 9HD

Salary: £28,000 per year

Hours per week: 45

Here at The Mole Resort, formerly the Highbullen Hotel, we operate a fabulous new resort set in acres of beautiful Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities.

As a Chef de Partie you will assist in running an efficient and profitable kitchen, using quality ingredients to inspire flavourful menus and prepare attractive food. You will prepare and cook dishes with guidance from the Head Chef or Senior Chef.

What will I be doing?
  • Delivery of a high quality product to our guests in different environments.
  • Ensure the completion of requisitions and keep necessary stocktaking records.
  • Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct locations whilst in a timely manner.
  • Maintain kitchen area and equipment, ensuring your station and utensils are in a hygienic condition at all times.
  • Be prepared to prepare and envision varying menus, making valuable contributions to menu content.
  • Deliver a speedy service whilst ensuring the quality and presentation of food.
  • Consider portion control to minimise waste whilst preparing dishes.
  • Understand and comply with Health and Safety legislation including Food Safety, fire precautions, legal requirements, and perform any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • Establish relationships with attending kitchen staff and other members of staff through the resort assisting in the delivery of service to our guests.
