What You’ll Be Doing

As a Central Parts Advisor, you’ll support multiple Steer sites by sourcing and managing parts supply to keep our repair teams working efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing and procuring parts quickly and cost‑effectively from approved and alternative suppliers
• Negotiating competitive terms to maximise margins and minimise downtime
• Managing lead times and keeping site teams updated on ETAs and supplier issues
• Providing solutions when parts are delayed or unavailable
• Building strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best deals
• Supporting onsite Parts Advisors with technical queries and complex sourcing

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive repair or bodyshop industry
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts sourcing
• Experience with systems such as Audatex, Pinnacle, or similar
• Confident communicator with a proactive, solution‑focused approach
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
