At Ripple Education, we are an Education Supply Agency providing high-quality supply teachers and support staff to the schools we serve in the North East.

We are looking for committed Catering Manager in a High School in Hexham with immediate start.

Working hours: 08:00am - 2:30pm

For candidates seeking additional hours, we currently have a Caretaker position available in the afternoons and evenings. Hours are flexible and can be arranged for every evening or three days a week, depending on your preference. Please contact us for further details.

Person Specification

Minimum Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum of 2 references
• Enhanced DBS Child Workforce on the Update Service
  
  

Experience/Qualifications

• Have basic food hygiene certificate
• Experience of working in a school kitchen
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food following agreed menus and accommodating any special dietary requirements
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the school kitchen including equipment and surrounding working areas.
• Set up and clear away after lunch including, washing up and cleaning tables.
• Comply with all food and Health and Safety standards and regulation.
• Take responsibility for maintaining and ordering stock and ensure appropriate storage and labelling procedures are followed.
