Our Market HarboroughDay Nursery in Market Harborough, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work alongside our Nursery Chef and provide our children with healthy, nutritious food.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Monday-Friday (9.15am-4pm) including a 45 mins unpaid break

What will you be doing:

• Ensuring all production, service and presentation of food is up to standard
• Carrying out all catering activities in line with the budget
• Ensuring any comments regarding the catering operation are noted and acted upon immediately
• Purchasing supplies through the agreed suppliers
• Ensuring all aspects of the Health & Safety at Work Act are complied with
• Covering all duties in times of Cooks absence
• Assisting within the nursery rooms, this will be advised by either the Nursery Manager or the Cook
