About You

You will bring a positive, can-do attitude, a genuine passion for food and a strong commitment to safe work practices and food handling standards. You’ll also be available to work shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday

The successful applicant will demonstrate the below skills and experience:

  • Certificate in Food Handling – desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Practical understanding of catering and nutrition needs of older adults in residential care
  • Basic kitchen knowledge and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret dietary information
  • Experience in aged care food service
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment
  • Ongoing training and professional development, including flexible online training
