Description

Priory Hospital Cheadle are looking for a Catering Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours per week. Set within picturesque landscaped gardens in Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a range of comprehensive inpatient mental health services for young people and adults. Multiple bus stops just outside of the hospital grounds that offer direct journeys to areas within Greater Manchester and Manchester city centre.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here. The post holder shares responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of records, data, and information, ensuring documentation meets regulatory and statutory requirements. While experience in a catering environment is not essential, as full training will be provided, the role involves responding to routine enquiries from colleagues and occasionally residents.
