Job summary

A friendly voluntary aided church school in the UK is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for term time only, with a schedule of 14.75 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have experience in preparing and cooking healthy meals, preferably in a busy catering environment. Responsibilities include cooking meals from fresh ingredients and working within a team. The role is subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS checks. Our friendly voluntary aided church school (454 pupils) is looking to appoint a Catering Assistant, term time only, 14.75 hours per week (11.00 - 13.45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. 10.00 - 13.45 Wednesday).

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience of preparing and cooking homemade healthy meals prefrably in a busy catering environment. Working as part of a team of four part-time catering assistants, you will facilitate daily preparation and cooking of healthy meals produced from fresh ingredients.

Qualifications

Experience of school catering and working with children would be an advantage.
