A renowned football club in Watford is looking for a Physical Performance Coach to join their performance team. The role involves providing strength and conditioning support for academy players aged 6 to 16. Candidates should hold a BSc in Sport + Exercise Science or a related discipline, have a valid FA First Aid qualification, and be available to work evenings and weekends. This position promotes a diverse work environment and emphasizes the importance of safeguarding in the sports domain.
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Academy at Watford Football Club on a casual basis. We are looking for a Physical Performance Coach to be part of a forward‑thinking performance team providing strength and conditioning assistance at training sessions for Academy players, aged between 6 and 16 years old.
You will be required to attend evenings sessions and may have to travel to various locations depending on training locations. In addition, you will be expected to attend and contribute to regular Continuous Professional Development events.
The successful candidates will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic and hardworking, and be flexible to the requirements of the position and the business.
Applicants should ideally live local to Watford or the surrounding areas and be a UK resident or non‑UK resident with a valid UK work permit, and ideally have experience working within a similar role.
