A prestigious educational institution in Harrow is seeking support staff for cleaning and laundry services on a casual contract. Candidates should have prior experience in similar roles, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and maintain high standards of cleanliness. You will be called upon at busy times to support the cleaning and/or laundry teams. In the team of cleaners, you will clean boarding Houses and other School buildings, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas. In the laundry team you will collect laundry from around the site, load and unload laundry from washing and drying machines, fold, press and pack it for delivery back to the correct buildings. This role will suit a candidate who has previous experience in cleaning and/or laundry services and experience working as part of a team and independently. You will have worked in a busy department of a large service-related organisation, where you managed a high workload whilst being able to follow instructions and complete your work with attention to detail and to a high standard. Your good standard of fitness will enable you to complete physical cleaning tasks and you will have a positive mindset and a willingness to be flexible and supportive within a friendly team to complete any reasonable departmental task.
