An educational institution in Gateshead seeks a reliable and self-motivated Caretaker to ensure the security and maintenance of the school site. The role involves supervising cleaning staff and performing routine checks on heating, lighting, and security systems. This permanent position offers 20 hours of work per week during term time and is part of a larger educational trust in the region.

Grade: Grade D SCP 5-7 (£25,583 - £26,403 per annum, pro rata)
Hours: 20 hours per week (Working 5 mornings per week 6:00am-10:00am), Permanent, Term Time Only + 3 weeks (41 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint a skilled, reliable and self-motivated person to take on this extremely important role of Caretaker in the school, to join our dedicated and supportive team.
We are seeking an individual to ensure the school site is secure and that the buildings and grounds are maintained, clean and equipment is well maintained. The person appointed will also supervise the cleaning staff within the school to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.
