The Person
You will be a people person aligned to the Gateway brand. You will be a great communicator with a track record of delivering the best client and customer experience possible. Promoting the brand and creating new opportunities will come as second nature to you.

The Job

This role offers diverse responsibilities, including maintenance and upkeep of the communal areas of a prestigious development in Brighton, including, but not limited to:

  • Hoovering carpets and floors in communal areas
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
  • Washing down walls, doors, and skirting boards
  • Sweeping and mopping hard floors
  • Ensure external communal areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Perform minor repairs such as fixing door handles, unblocking sinks, replacing light bulbs, etc.
  • Carry out basic plumbing, painting, and decorating tasks.
  • Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working order.
  • Conduct routine checks of the premises for damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.

  • AOV testing
  • Fault reporting

What You Need

  • Has a full, clean manual driving license (essential for the role)
  • Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations
  • Basic IT literacy skills
  • Previous caretaker/handyman experience (preferred)

Job Location: Brighton
Hours:42.5 hours across Monday-Saturday
Salary:Competitive, with an annual review
Annual leave:20 days plus bank holidays
