Base pay range

Care Logistics Manager

£41,000 – £48,000 including London allowance plus Benefits (Work Level 6A)

37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5 PM

Please note all positions within Funeralcare can involve direct physical contact with the deceased as part of normal duties. The level of contact will differ by role.

Typical duties include preparation, transportation and personal care of the deceased, carried out with professionalism, dignity, respect and adherence to health and safety standards. Consider your comfort with these responsibilities before applying.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure everything and everyone is in the right place at the right time to deliver funerals, including the respectful transfer of the deceased, coffin preparation, vehicle whereabouts, and more.
  • Engage all necessary colleagues effectively, ensuring they are involved and empowered, and act as a point of escalation for logistical problems.
  • Coach and develop a team of funeral service operatives, drivers and embalmers.
  • Continuously review and improve the logistics operation across your area.
