Job description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Dual Trained Nurse (RMN/RGN or equivalent) to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team.

This is an exciting and varied role where you'll lead our Physical Health Clinic two days a week, with the opportunity to shape the rest of your role around your interests and the needs of the wider service, making it ideal for someone seeking flexibility and professional variety. Advertised as a part-time role, there is option to extend to full time within the CMHT.

As our Physical Health Nurse, you'll ensure people with severe and enduring mental illness receive high-quality, holistic care. You'll oversee physical health monitoring and reporting, manage depot antipsychotic medication and phlebotomy clinics, and provide accessible support for housebound patients in the community. You'll also work collaboratively with RMNs, Care Coordinators and GPs to contribute to annual health reviews, risk assessments and the achievement of key performance indicators across the patient group.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive nurse with a strong understanding of physical health within mental health services, excellent communication and liaison skills, and a patient-centred approach. You'll thrive both independently and as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

In return, we offer flexibility, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference to people's lives through high-quality, compassionate and integrated care.
