Job description

Overview

Care Assistant - Shift work- London & South-East at Paragon Home Healthcare. Day/Night Shift Carers are sought to provide specialised Spinal Cord Injury care for clients in and around London and the South East. Clients reside in their own homes or independent accommodations, accessible by public transport.

Base pay and work pattern

Pay rate: £15.29 per hr – £18.35 per hr

Hours: Day Shift & Waking Night Shift

Shifts: 3-4 shifts per week or more, with a 2-3 day rest period. You may work with another client after rest. Standby rota available for eligible applicants. Comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record the clients health status.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
• Ensure client safety and maintain confidentiality.
• Notify clients of changes in medications.
• Arrange transportation for client appointments.

Shift Care Job Overview

As a Carer (Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Responsibilities are detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure high-quality care, including spinal injury toileting and related support.
