What it's about

In this position, you have the opportunity to play an important role in Partners Group's Capital Markets team, responsible for all debt financing‑related aspects of Partners Group's Private Equity and Private Infrastructure investments globally, across their life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate debt financings for new buyouts / investments, incremental capital raises, recapitalizations, amendment & extensions, repricing and refinancings of portfolio companies / assets across Partners Group’s Private Equity and Private Infrastructure businesses
• Serve as an important markets and capital structure advisor to investment and management teams including with respect to exit processes
• Maintain and expand relationships with banks, institutional investors, legal counsel, and other market participants
• Proactively generate value enhancing financing ideas for existing investments
• Structure and negotiate financing related hedging
• Originate investment opportunities from your network

Successful candidates should have the following profile:

• 7-10 years of leveraged finance/capital markets and/or infrastructure finance experience at a leading financial institution or currently in a Capital Markets role at an asset manager
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven track record in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt financings in a lead‑left capacity (underwritten and best efforts), including loans and bonds
• Excellent understanding of capital markets and debt products including detailed understanding of execution processes (constituents, legal and marketing documents, etc.)
• Strong understanding and negotiating experience of loan and bond documentation
• Team worker with self‑drive and a strong attention to detail as well as desire to contribute and make a difference
