A leading cafe operator in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cafe Manager to run the Gallery and Play Cafes within The Savill Garden. The role involves team supervision, ensuring high customer service standards, and continuous improvement in operations. The candidate should have experience managing teams, with an emphasis on food safety and customer experience. This full-time position offers a salary between £32,000 to £34,000 plus bonuses, along with several employee benefits.
We are looking for Cafe Manager to join the team atour cafe located within Savill Garden, Great Windsor Park.
Situated within The Savill Garden Visitor Centre, we operatea large and energetic restaurant and 3 cafes. We serve a seasonal menu with British classics from locally sourced ingredients in the restaurant, as well as a range of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and carbon neutral coffee in the cafes.
The venue is open 7 days per week,mostly daytime. Therefore, availability to work most weekends is necessary.
The successful candidate will run the Gallery Cafe and Play Cafe. We would like the candidate to take real ownership of the Cafes as we seek to continually improve our offer and implement our sustainability plan. You will report in to the site General Manager.
Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 per annum + bonus
Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Weekends. You will be required to work most weekends.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
The award-winning Savill Building serves as a visitor centre for The Savill Garden, Adventure Play and the wider Great Park. It was opened in 2006 by H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh.
The building measures an impressive 90 metres long and has won a number of architectural awards.The wooden grid shell architecture, was constructed from sustainable timber sources from within the Great Park.
Other than Savill Kitchen, visitors will find a shop selling gifts supporting British manufacturersand a range of plants and garden accessories from the Royal Gardens.
