Buying Admin Assistant (18-month Fixed Term Contract) |📍London – Hybrid (2 days in office) | 💰Competitive Salary + Benefits

About the Role

As a Buying Admin Assistant at Moonpig, you’ll play a key part in making sure our gifting and flower ranges shine online. With a sharp eye for detail and a hands‑on, can‑do mindset, you’ll own how products are set up across the site — ensuring everything is accurate, launch‑ready, and set up for commercial success.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career, or looking to move into a buying or commercial environment. You don’t need prior buying experience, but curiosity, organisation, and commercial awareness are essential. You’ll work closely with Buyers, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Creative teams, supporting the smooth running of our product ranges from set‑up through to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the set‑up of all products on the platform, aligning with range plans and wider business needs
  • Collate product information from suppliers, including specifications and warnings, and ensure this is accurately reflected on site
  • Ensure all products have the required Moonpig copy and high‑quality photography ready for launch
  • Align with Supply Chain on stock delivery timelines and help prevent unplanned delays to launches
  • Set up promotions across the site in line with the trade plan, including reactive promotions when needed
  • Support sample submissions for product and lifestyle photoshoots
  • Ensure all product assets are stored in a clear, organised way both on and offline
  • Coordinate sample requests from Marketing and Creative teams, keeping costs low and usage efficient
  • Support the Moonpig charity committee by planning and running regular sample sales
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to the wider Buying team as required
About You
  • You put the customer first and care about how products show up online
  • You’re highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and understand how your role supports wider commercial goals
  • You bring a positive, can‑do attitude and are happy to get stuck in
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities
  • You have good commercial awareness, even if you haven’t worked in a buying team before
  • You’re proficient in G‑Suite, particularly Sheets and Slides
  • You have a genuine passion for product
Nice to have
  • Previous experience in a retail environment
  • Photoshop or design skills
