Job Description

Are you ready to make a real, positive impact on another person’s life? If you do, the we are seeking a Business Support Assistant - Finance to join our busy Locality Children Services Business Support Team.


This role will support the busy social work teams with all aspects of finance and procurement for the East of the County, such as Processing Invoices, Handling and Issuing petty cash and Travel Warrants and completing reconciliations. you will also support with online purchases via company Credit Card and have daily use of the Oracle Financial System.

Please note, this role is office based only to enable support of the workers.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Is able to manage a busy workload
  • Is confident with both team and lone working
  • Has a high standard of numeracy skills to meet job requirements
  • Has the ability to collect and interpret information and data to prepare reports
  • Has working knowledge of spread sheets and word processing applications
