About the Role

We're looking for a highly driven Business Development Representative / Lead Generation Specialist to join our Business Development Team and play a critical role in expanding our pipeline for Managed IT, Managed XDR, and Co-Managed services.

You'll be responsible for planning and delivering multi-channel lead generation campaigns targeting mid-market and public-sector organisations across the UK. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where your work directly contributes to new revenue growth.

If you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoy engaging with senior decision-makers, and are motivated by hitting ambitious targets-this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Research and source cold prospects using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and BladeIQ.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate qualified leads.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers to support targeted "warm" campaigns.
  • Create compelling messaging that speaks to industry pain points and highlights our service value.
  • Build and maintain long-term prospect databases, supporting both outbound and marketing nurture activity.
  • Mentor other team members to help them achieve their call and lead targets.
  • Qualify leads against agreed business criteria (company size, job role, authority, IT needs).
  • Exceed weekly/monthly KPIs across calls, leads, meetings and conversions.
  • Record and track all activity, pipeline and performance within CRM and lead gen platforms.
  • Set up and qualify meetings with senior leaders including CIOs, IT Directors, CFOs and CTOs.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to internal teams to support continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years' experience in B2B lead generation, sales development or inside sales (ideally IT, technology, or SaaS).
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding lead and pipeline targets.
  • Strong experience with CRM, sales enablement and data platforms.
  • Excellent research, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-activity workload and maintain performance metrics.
  • Confident in articulating technical concepts and value propositions.
  • Professional phone manner and strong written communication skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in Managed IT or technology services.
  • Familiarity with public sector sales.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other sales professionals.
  • Advanced understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT security, managed services or SaaS.
  • Sales/marketing certifications (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Personal Attributes
  • Resilient, persistent and target-driven.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a data-driven mindset.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • A positive team player who motivates others.
  • Highly organised with strong process discipline.
