Overview

Part of the Commercial Direct Team in Business Growth. As a Senior Business Growth Manager (Business development manager), you are responsible for building and maintaining professional and profitable relationships and partnerships with key brands across a designated regional area. You will be leading the management of these clients, with the objective of generating maximum revenue for the Company.

What you'll be doing...

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities with potential and existing brands to generate maximum, profitable and sustainable revenue from your region.
  • Take overall responsibility for the performance and development of the region, selling across all channels. Devise development strategies, sales reporting, and revenue forecasts.
  • Build and grow a diverse portfolio of brands; expect to spend 40% of time on harvesting big-spending client partners and increasing their annual spend.
  • Diversify the customer base by identifying viable new revenue streams, securing and nurturing new business opportunities, clients and partnerships, and driving incremental revenue and average client spend.
  • Understand and excel in the JCDecaux full sales cycle from lead sourcing and briefing to final booking and managing the sales pipeline, ensuring smooth client campaigns.
  • Stay at the forefront of trends, innovations, mergers and acquisitions, new product development and emerging brands across your region and the OOH marketplace.
  • Lead tenders and pitches, ensuring high-quality, tailored submissions; leverage internal marketing and data insights as needed.
  • Develop tailored proposals by understanding clients’ business objectives, delivering balanced campaign models for long-term relationships; collaborate with other departments to leverage data and products.
  • Operate within JCDecaux sales policy and business objectives, including securing new revenue for digital formats and communicating JCDecaux’s Programmatic narrative to the market.
  • Take a proactive approach to the region and aim to increase market share.
  • Represent and promote business development across the geographic area; build relationships with regional influencers and partners, attend events, network, and host meetings to raise JCDecaux’s external profile; establish a referral model to maximise new business.
  • Take responsibility for achieving personal quarterly and yearly targets.

  • This role is home-based, requiring autonomous field work and travel, including overnight stays for team meetings and training as required.

  • Strong sales generation and account management skills; excellent negotiator with commercial acumen.
  • Thorough market intelligence of the geographical area, including business trends and networks; credible media expert in the marketplace.
  • Strong communication: able to explain ideas clearly and passionately; effective negotiator in complex situations.
  • Ability to drive value-adding business conversations with clients; strong questioning and listening skills; ability to see the big picture and long-term trends.
  • Proven prospecting and persuasive presentation abilities.
