What You’ll Do
- Achieve or surpass UK Telecom sales, orders, and standard profit percentage targets.
- Support the broader ES ROS target through strategic account management.
- Focus heavily on acquiring new telecom clients while continuing to develop and cultivate existing customer relationships within your territory.
- Lead customer engagement with agreed operators and integrators, ensuring growth in pipeline and sales volume across Eaton’s telecom offerings.
- Serve as the primary contact and hold direct sales responsibility for Eaton’s Direct Current telecom solutions in the UK region for designated accounts.
- Position Eaton’s telecom portfolio and brand within emerging technologies and market trends.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key decision‑makers, building long‑term relationships that drive loyalty and mutual success.
- Collaborate with Business Units and local sales teams to ensure timely responses to all technical and commercial correspondence from the region.
- Drive specification of Eaton products within operator, reseller, installer, and integrator frameworks across your territory.
- Lead technical solution discussions with senior consultants and operator technical leads.
- Identify new market segment opportunities and develop business cases to support expansion.
- Maintain strong familiarity with Eaton’s full range of electrical products.
- Stay informed on competitor technologies, strategies, and pricing within your channel.
- Engage clients early in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure new products meet annual sales quotas.
- Submit monthly reports to your direct manager, including sales forecasts, product forecasts, and competitor activity updates.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification or equivalent / outstanding proven technical ability
- Five to Ten years experience
Skills
- Direct Current Technical Solutions Experience Preferred
- Solid understanding of and relationships with UK Telecom Operators & Telecom Stakeholders
- A proactive “hunter” mindset — commercially driven and sales‑focused, ideally with current experience in manufacturing and a strong understanding of UK telecom opportunities.
