The LK Group is a multi-award-winning organisation with over 50 team members across offices in Manchester, Swindon, and Glasgow, providing ground investigation, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies, land remediation and project management services to several sectors across the UK.

The Role

This role is to help support the Business Development & Marketing Manager to achieve our capability goals that have been set out in the LK Group Business Development and Marketing Plan. This will support the Group to sustainably grow and increase its profitability.

Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Relationships
  • Identifyand develop new business opportunities through calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts to secure repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
  • Research and source new leads through industry networks, publications, and social media.
  • Conduct competitor and client analysis toidentifyupcoming project opportunities.
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings across the UK.
  • Contribute to achieving agreed sales targets and business growthobjectives.
  • Manage tender portals, ensuring company information isaccurateand up to date.
  • Support completion of PQQs, supplier questionnaires, and tender submissions.
Marketing & Communications
  • Create engaging social media content and news stories to enhance brand visibility.
  • Develop marketing materials including case studies, testimonials, and imagery.
  • Produce written content such as blogs, press releases, and website updates.
  • Coordinate company events, CPDs, and exhibitions to strengthen client engagement.
  • Maintainaccuratedata within Salesforce, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
