We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Change Team within the Northgate Group, playing a key role in shaping how our business evolves. This is a genuinely business-facing role, working closely with end users, operational teams, and change leaders to understand how our people work today and how we can design better processes, services and experiences for tomorrow.

You will work across multiple business domains to analyse problems, identify opportunities, and define changes that deliver measurable value. This is not a purely technical or systems‑focused BA role, it’s about driving real operational and customer impact across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Investigating and understanding the current business state, including challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Performing stakeholder analysis to identify perspectives, influences, and engagement needs
• Conducting detailed gap analysis between the current (“As Is”) and desired (“To Be”) business states
• Eliciting, analysing, validating, and documenting business and system requirements, using industry‑standard techniques
• Translating business needs into clear, testable requirements that guide design, development, and testing activities
• Collaborating with solution architects, developers, and test teams to ensure solutions align with the agreed business objectives
• Supporting business readiness and acceptance activities to ensure implemented solutions deliver the intended value

About You

• You have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a business change, operations, service design or transformation environment
• You have excellent core analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, data analysis, and stakeholder management
• You’re familiar with recognised techniques such as requirements engineering, process modelling, use story mapping and writing (invest framework)
• You’re can translate complex business needs into structured, actionable documentation understood by both technical and non‑technical audiences
• You’re experienced in supporting testing and validation phases, including preparing and reviewing test scripts
• You hold or are working towards a recognised BA qualification (ISEB/BCS) or can demonstrate equivalent practical experience
• You’re naturally curious, collaborative, and passionate about delivering meaningful business change
