We are seeking an experienced broadcast PR specialist to deliver a focused six‑week campaign for a CEO appearing on a prime‑time TV show about entrepreneurs this January. The episode is expected to generate significant interest, and the goal is to maximise exposure by securing additional TV and radio opportunities in the weeks before and after broadcast.
You will be working alongside an existing freelance PR consultant, who is focused on national media and print coverage. Your expertise will be to extend this reach into broadcast, positioning the CEO as a go‑to commentator on entrepreneurship, fintech, mortgages, and personal finance.
Create a tailored broadcast PR strategy around the TV appearance.
Build relationships with producers, editors and bookers to secure interviews across TV, radio and podcasts.
Develop soundbites, talking points, and a media one‑pager for the CEO.
Provide media coaching to ensure strong on‑air delivery.
Amplify and repurpose broadcast coverage across other channels.
Report weekly on progress and results.
A proven track record of securing TV and radio coverage for founders, CEOs or entrepreneurs.
Strong broadcast media relationships, especially in business, finance and consumer programming.
Experience working within fast‑paced campaigns around major events or product launches.
The ability to work collaboratively with an existing PR resource and deliver results under tight timeframes.
6 weeks, starting in early January (two weeks pre‑appearance, four weeks post‑appearance).
