About the Maison

This Maison represents the finest tradition of niche men’s high-end ready-to-wear: craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and a commitment to exceptional client service. As they open their new boutique in London, they are seeking an experienced Boutique Director to lead the launch, drive commercial success, and embody the values of the House.

Role Overview

The Boutique Director will be responsible for establishing and developing the London boutique as a top-performing location. This role requires exceptional leadership, strong business acumen, and a refined understanding of luxury menswear and clientele expectations. The ideal candidate is autonomous, entrepreneurial, and capable of delivering both operational excellence and elevated client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Performance
  1. Drive the boutique’s turnover and consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  2. Develop strategic actions to increase revenue, including client outreach, local partnerships, and exclusive in-store events.
  3. Analyze KPIs, propose improvements, and implement commercial strategies aligned with the Maison’s vision.
Client Development
  1. Recruit, grow, and retain an exclusive clientele base, ensuring long-term relationships and recurring business.
  2. Guarantee highly personalized client experience, reflecting the codes and heritage of the Maison.
  3. Oversee the implementation of CRM initiatives and ensure effective follow-up with top clients and prospects.
Team Leadership & Management
  1. Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing boutique team capable of delivering exceptional service.
  2. Set clear objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure ongoing development of each team member.
  3. Create a positive, motivating, and results-oriented environment built on trust and excellence.
Brand Visibility & Representation
  1. Act as an ambassador of the Maison within the local market.
  2. Increase brand awareness through targeted in-store activities, networking, and collaborations.
  3. Ensure that the boutique reflects the Maison’s identity through impeccable merchandising and service standards.
Operations & Autonomy
  1. Oversee daily boutique operations with reliability, rigor, and full ownership of results.
  2. Manage stock, inventory movements, and operational procedures according to the Maison’s guidelines.
  3. Guarantee compliance with corporate policies, health & safety regulations, and financial processes.
Profile & Requirements
  1. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury retail management, ideally in men’s high-end RTW.
  2. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing a loyal client portfolio.
  3. Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  4. Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  5. Deep understanding of luxury service, craftsmanship, and contemporary menswear.
  6. Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong asset.
