Qualifications

Job description

Join us as ILR, Tenders and Contracts Adviser where you will help manage the administrative processes that underpin the work of the Apprenticeship Unit to ensure its smooth and efficient running and compliance with relevant quality assurance standards, codes of practice, and University guidelines.

You will ensure that the quality and excellence of the provision is well communicated with both internal and external stakeholders, managing communications across a range of channels.

As ILR, Tenders and Contracts Adviser you can expect to be involved in:

  • Drafting successful applications linked to apprenticeship and provision delivery.
  • Finding and successfully bidding for Higher and Degree Apprenticeship and other provision tenders that are in-line with the Hubs portfolio
  • Monitoring on a consistent basis the publication of tenders for apprenticeship to maintain a comprehensive overview of activity, including maintaining a register of tenders and contracts and monitor policy and Skills England updates relating to apprenticeship delivery, taking the lead when writing responses and reports on behalf of the Unit
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Apprenticeship Compliance to ensure that all tenders, contracts and provision is compliant with university and external regulatory body requirements
  • Overseeing the completion of the ILR and the finance team associated with this.

What will you bring to the role?

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) Grade 4/C or above
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes in a relevant context
  • Experience of monitoring the publication of tenders for apprenticeship provision (or similar) and writing successful tenders
  • Experience of writing clear and concise business reports for different audiences, including at a senior level.
