Overview

Join to apply for the Bank Support Worker - Extra Care role at Making Space Charity.

We have an opportunity available for Bank Support Workers Extra Care to join the team across both Poppy Court, CV3 3DN and Bevan Court, CV3 5JB in Coventry. This role involves supporting adults on a person-centred basis to live independently in their own apartments, including medication assistance, accessing the community and domestic tasks.

Salary £12.60 per hour. A full job description can be found here. On joining Making Space you will be supported with on-the-job training and the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.

Responsibilities
  • Support adults on a person-centred basis to live independently in their own apartments.
  • Assist with medication and daily living tasks as required.
  • Help clients access the community and undertake domestic tasks; adapt to varying daily needs and situations.
  • Think on your feet, understand clients’ needs, and foster a positive, friendly environment for service users.
