Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role
Who will you be supporting?
  • Two Ladies and a gentleman live together aged from 30 to 60
  • One Lady is 2.1 support, Two ladies are registered blind
  • MAPPA, MENTAL HEALTH, AND DIABETES
What is important to the people we support?
  • Our excellent staff team that is fully trained in aspects of care
  • Our staff have set up activity plans for each service user, they go on pampers, theatre, meals out, trips out in the car, Hairdressers, nail bars, go on holiday with staff and our family members.
  • Our interests are going out as much as we can as we love being out doing things we love with our staff team
  • We all love to go on holiday, and stay overnight to see theatre shows, and go on holiday with our family members.
  • We have a car at the service that staff are insured to drive this helps us get out into the community.
  • Two ladies are blind rely on staff a lot to get safely about, The gentleman likes his own space and likes to chill in the lounge and listen to music or the television
  • We all need staff to be patient with us, give us time to adjust to new people, and places. We need staff to be caring and understanding. We don’t want people who don’t care, and rush us into doing things we don’t enjoy.
Any other important information?
  • Three staff are on shift at one time
  • 8 till 8pm 8 till 14.00 pm 14.00 till 20.00 pm 20,00n pm to 8.00am nights
  • We need you to be patient, love to go out on activities, and enjoy your job supporting us to live a full life
