A leading NHS Trust in the Greater London area is seeking a Band 4 Emergency Department Doctors Rota Co-ordinator for a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week. This position involves coordinating rotas, managing the day-to-day administration service, and providing support to the Urgent Care management team. · Co-ordinate and populate rotas across the Emergency Department.
· Manage the day to day delivery of administration service using monitoring tools, problem solving skills and escalating problematic issues
· To maintain the various medical rotas taking a pre-active approach to filling vacant on-call shifts. Liaising with temporary staffing as appropriate.
· Provide cover for doctor’s sickness and any leave.
· Provide admin support to the Urgent Care management team
· Liaise with the Clinical lead on a regular basis
· Work under own initiative, with manager available for reference when required
· Contribute to achievement of relevant Divisional objectives and goals.
· Be a role model providing excellent customer service and world class care.
Line management responsibilities
· Coordinate the daily delivery of the service managing annual leave and sick leave, and providing cover when required.
