A regional airport in the UK seeks personnel for an aviation security role focused on maintaining safety and effective screening of passengers and luggage. Successful candidates will need to complete their x-ray certification within the first six months. The position offers flexible hours with expected working averages of about 18.5 hours per week across various shifts up to 12 hours. Full training will be provided, and opportunities exist until the end of October 2026. Applications are open until early January 2026.
To maintain aviation security standards ensuring the safe and effective screening of passengers, staff, contractors, baggage, airport supplies, and airport users in accordance with Department for Transport directives, and to provide general security for airport property.
Full training in-house will be provided.
This is a fixed term contract until 31.10.2026. Expected start date March/April 2026.
