Responsibilities
  • Lead audit teams on a range of statutory audit assignments from planning to completion.
  • Manage and ensure audit projects are delivered within agreed budget and deadlines.
  • Act as the principal client contact during on‑site fieldwork, delivering high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Supervise audit teams onsite, review work, and contribute to the development of junior team members.
  • Lead assurance and risk management projects, liaising with clients and preparing client reports.
Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1–2 years post‑qualified experience.
  • Significant experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
  • Be fully up to date with UK audit and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under own initiative to tight deadlines.
  • Good general IT skills and previous experience managing and nurturing junior team members.
