A global financial services group is seeking an Assistant Vice President for their Regulatory Change Team. This mid-senior level role involves becoming the SME on regulatory topics, advising stakeholders, and preparing analysis and documentation related to regulatory changes. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of EU regulations and experience in wholesale banking. This is a full-time position based in London.

The Regulatory Change Team (RCT) deals with new regulatory developments starting at the pre‑publication stage (e.g., analysis of consultation papers, discussion papers, draft regulation, etc.) and continues through to full implementation. The team covers financial regulations in the UK, EU‑wide, US and other overseas jurisdictions where MUFG‑Securities (London) has licences. Topics are allocated to team members who become SMEs in the topic and are responsible for their topics through the various stages of the regulatory lifecycle. Responsibilities include reviewing and opining in consultations, completing impact analysis, providing regulatory advice during implementation, attending trade association meetings, producing briefing papers and general MI.
