We are looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to support the Global Senior HR Business Partners in the delivery of a professional HR service that adds value and delivers effective business focussed solutions. To work in partnership with senior managers and other HR professionals to drive and implement strategic workforce plans aimed at improving the quality and consistency of business partnering and all HR practices to achieve our growth strategy. The role will provide operational and administrative support while gaining exposure to strategic HR initiatives, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes and contributing to employee engagement.
What will you be doing
- Develop strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders including HR colleagues, senior leadership teams and the wider business to deliver the implementation of HR policies, practices and procedures aimed at maximising performance and talent
- Work alongside other HR Business Partners to provide the full range of support from an operational perspective by supporting the delivery of core HR processes including: talent and succession planning, performance reviews, compensation, employee engagement survey, etc.Contribute to the creation of career pathways, and to organisation-wide learning curriculums including supporting the delivery of training programmesSupportanddeliverregionalHRproject workasrequired, embeddingnew initiatives within client groups
- As our reporting and people analytics capability develops, analyse HR data to provide insight to senior leaders as well as providing intervention options
- Manage employee relations issues including performance management, engaging with business managers promptly to provide clear and practical advice on company procedures and employment issues, efficiently resolving problems, ensuring compliance with legislation, and assist in developing employee communication plans where appropriate
- Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding processand promote the diversity agenda through the delivery of HR practices and policies
- Work in partnership with the HR Operations Manager to produce employee documents including employment contracts, leave records, visa requirements, payroll updates and ensure employee information is accurate and efficiently recorded
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years HR experience working as an HR professional
- Either CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability influence senior managers ensuring success and credibility at all levels in the organisation
- Ability to deliver a high touch, customer-focused service at all times in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Experience operating with autonomy and accountability and in conjunction with management to achieve business goals
- Ability to think innovatively with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines
- Experience of using and interpreting HR policies and procedures and use of best practice within employment legislation and conditions of service
- HRIS experience with ability to generate and analyse reports – Workday experience is a plus
- Experience of handling employee relations and performance management issues and able to demonstrate solid background in UK employment law
- Proven ability to be a collaborative member of a team across different locations and business areas
