Assistant Director of Specialism - Maths

Leadership Scale: 8-12 | Permanent Role | Head Office, New College Durham Academies Trust

As Assistant Director of Specialism - Maths, you will play a key role in driving school improvement across the Trust. Working closely with Heads of Departments and teachers, your focus will be on supporting, developing, and leading our team of Maths practitioners to accelerate the pace of improvement. By enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, you will help every student achieve their potential, regardless of their starting point.

We are seeking an experienced Maths practitioner with a proven track record of excellent results at KS3 and KS4, a minimum of five years’ teaching experience, and the ability to drive improvement across multiple schools. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career, working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and inspirational environment while making a real difference to the lives of our students.
