Job summary

A sports development company is looking for an Assistant Cricket Coach to help deliver exciting cricket training sessions for children aged 2.5 to 11 years. You will support the Lead Coach by engaging with young participants, ensuring safety, and managing the administrative tasks related to the sessions. This role is ideal for someone energetic and passionate about youth development in sports. The position offers an hourly rate of £10-£15 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children (ages 2-11) in a sports or educational setting.
• Reliable, energetic, and passionate about youth development through sport.
• Valid Enhanced DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
• Willingness to take on additional administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Coach in delivering fun-based cricket sessions.
• Engage with participants and manage behaviour during sessions.
• Assist with participant registration and attendance tracking.
• Support parental communication and volunteer oversight.
