A leading automotive retailer in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Assistant Bodyshop Manager to oversee daily operations of the body shop in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role combines hands-on repair work with supervisory duties, including managing a team, quality checks, and customer relations. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of automotive body repair experience. This position offers a competitive salary of £52,000 OTE, generous benefits, and a permanent full-time contract.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5.30pm
Salary: £52,000 OTE ( Basic salary £42,000)

The Assistant Bodyshop Manager oversees daily operations of the body shop, ensuring high-quality, timely, and safe repairs. This role is split 50/50 between productive, hands-on repair work and supervisory responsibilities, leading a team of technicians, managing workflow, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
