A community-focused organisation in Salford is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Active Communities Development Officer. This role supports the development of a sustainable sports and leisure program with a focus on children and young people. We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Active Communities Development Officer, supporting the creation of an effective and sustainable sport and leisure programme within neighbourhoods, including but not limited to holiday activities for children and young people. This role sits within the Active Communities Team, where you will be expected to work flexibly and in line with the needs of the service.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, motivated, and confident in communicating with colleagues, partners, children and young people at all levels. An interest in delivering physical activity opportunities for children and young people is essential. You will be a dynamic member of the team, contributing to the development and growth of the project while maintaining a high-quality service.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check, currently it is £49.50. The payment will be taken back over two payments directly from the first two months salary payments. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment.
