Job description

Here at BPP Education Group we have a dedicated Apprenticeship Operations Funding Team who are responsible for managing the end-to-end funding process for all apprentices at BPP Group.

Due to continued growth and success of our Apprenticeship Operations Department, an opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail orientated individual to join our team as a Funding Executive. You will be responsible for ensuring learners have completed all necessary compliance paperwork and with keeping the various funding data systems up to date and accurate.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you’ll be entrusted to manage your own time and workload independently whilst also being a key member of a close-knit and supportive team.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the ESFA funding rules for enrolling a learner onto an Apprenticeship are adhered to throughout the funding process. This will involve cross checking paperwork, entering data accurately into the funding systems and responding to any reporting requests.

As such, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to funding queries via email and telephone
  • Auditing learner sign-up packs before inputting data into the funding system
  • Processing leaver and non-achiever paperwork ensuring the correct reason codes are allocated
  • Processing and all learner data such as apprenticeship start dates, quality control checks, employer set-ups, assessor changes and ensuring all learner files are kept accurate and up to date
  • Where a learner breaks from the course, ensure the dates are logged, their files are updated, and the details are entered into the funding system accurately
  • Managing the completion of apprenticeships such as audit checking learner folders and tracking any rejected completions
  • Generate reports on leavers and nonachievers for Programme Managers

  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to carry out tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Possess passion and enthusiasm for delivering first class client/learner support
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and be adaptable to a varying workload
