Responsibilities

  • Allocate stock to stores based on sales performance.
  • Monitor sales and stock levels to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Review under- and over-performing stores or products.
  • Work with various teams to align on priorities.
  • Respond to stock allocation requests from stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate data in stock systems.
  • Produce regular allocation and stock reports.

Job description
Our Role

The Allocator plays a key role in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Working closely with Merchandising and Retail teams, the Allocator uses sales and stock data to allocate and replenish products across stores supporting availability, maximising sales, and minimising excess stock.

This role offers strong exposure to the commercial side of retail and is an excellent stepping stone into Merchandising, Planning or Trading roles.

What you’ll be doing
  • Allocate new and replenishment stock to stores in line with sales performance, store profiles, and capacity
  • Monitor daily and weekly sales, stock levels, and availability to identify risks and opportunities
  • Manage store replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce lost sales
  • Review under- and over-performing stores or products
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail and VM teams to align on priorities
  • Respond to ad-hoc stock and allocation requests from stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate data within allocation and stock systems
  • Produce and maintain regular allocation and stock reports
The skills & experience that you’ll need
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel (e.g. lookups, pivots, formulas)
  • Ability to interpret sales and stock data and turn insight into action
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear and confident communicator
