Airspace Modernisation Policy Associate (5021)

Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 Depending on Experience
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
Location: Gatwick / Hybrid

Security Level Required: BPSS
For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles, the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.

You will support the development and delivery of the CAA’s Airspace Modernisation which will include working closely with government and industry representatives to interpret and implement public policy, in addition to developing new guidance and processes.
The role supports the Airspace Modernisation Development Team in developing high-quality publications and communications, and you will build, grow and lead internal and external stakeholder relationships to enable key outcomes to be delivered and to ensure the delivery of approvals and completion of key administrative accountabilities.
The CAA will be relocating from Aviation House, Our Gatwick/Crawley Office. We are currently working to understand our needs before we start our property search, which is expected to be within a 15mile radius of our current base, but we do not expect to move before 2028.
