Job summary

A major UK airport operator is seeking a Network Engineer to maintain and support their LAN, WAN and WiFi infrastructure in a collaborative environment. The role requires strong experience with Cisco devices and corporate WiFi technologies. As a Network Engineer, you will resolve network faults, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to network projects while working hybrid office hours. Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a Network Engineering role.
  • Demonstrable competency with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience with corporate WiFi technologies (Aruba experience advantageous).
  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN (Cisco), Wireless (Aruba), routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configuration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and supporting existing network infrastructure.
  • Responding to and resolving faults, liaising with external support where necessary.
  • Performing analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Configuring and deploying network devices.
  • Playing a key role in network-related projects.
  • Working within MAG’s change management procedures.
