A leading healthcare provider in Birmingham seeks an Admissions Coordinator to manage patient admissions. Responsibilities include registering patients, managing insurance matters, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and 0-2 years of experience. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing inpatient and outpatient admissions. They register incoming patients, enter information on admitting forms, explain hospital regulations, and assign patients to rooms based on the nature of the illness and the type of accommodations available. They may prepare identification bracelets and assist in insurance matters, serving as a liaison between patients, their families, visitors, and the hospital (administration, management, hospital staff, medical staff, etc.).

8‑hour Shifts, Monday — Friday, 4:30 AM — 1:00 PM
